How a brief actually runs

The discipline shapes part of the workflow, but most of it is the same. Whether the role is a shift manager on a 4-on / 4-off pattern in a Midlands DC or a procurement lead at a North-East food manufacturer, we follow the same partnership-led process so nothing slips.

1. Discipline-specific brief

If it is a transport role, we know which CPC and ADR matters. If it is BRCGS food production, we know what Issue 9 expects of an audit lead. We will not waste your call asking the basics.

2. Salary calibration against the shift

Every shortlist is calibrated against current UK salary data plus what we are seeing live across the desk this month. Continental shift, days-only, 4-on / 4-off and call-out arrangements all change the number. If the band looks low for the pattern, we tell you before we start.

3. Vetted, ranked shortlist

Three to five candidates per brief. FLT, CCNSG, NEBOSH, BRCGS or HACCP credentials and right-to-work confirmed before introduction. Each ranked against the brief with a short written note rather than just sent.

4. Offer and start support

We coordinate the offer, manage counter-offer pressure, line up the start date and any pre-employment checks, and check in at week 2, 6 and 12.
